XMAS in June...continued

Hello!

One last Christmas kit to close out the day.  This one also came from The Crafty Scrapper and was designed by Dee Dee Roe.  I really love this idea and can see it being adapted into many different things other than Christmas.  I love the 7 Gypsy box the ATC cards are displayed in and yes I was a craft rebel again and didn't quiet follow the instructions.  I left the box basically untouched so that anyone receiving this could reuse the box for anything they liked once Christmas was over.  The gift that keeps giving.  LOL

This is the 25 Days of Christmas ATC Card Tray......

More XMAS in June!

Hello!

On a roll now! LOL Next up is another kit I bought back in December.  Yes, I made some changes to it as well as I am a rebel crafter and never follow directions.

This is a Maya Road 3-inch Vintage Memory Box with Coaster Album.

This one also came from The Crafty Scrapper and was designed by Shelley Hamilton.

It was suppose to have a Christmas tree on the top but I just thought it was overwhelming to the box so I omitted it and add the legs.

It is a cute little box which would make a great little gift.

You will be able to find this available in my Etsy shop!

XMAS in June!

Hello!

Been off the grids for a couple of weeks sick but now back starting to recuperate.  Of course, I have craft projects backed up to post on my blog. LOL Will be posting and listing on Etsy trying to get caught up again.  You know I am a much better crafter than blogger.

Anyways, here we go.....

This is a kit I bought way back in December and am just now getting around to doing.  You know a very wise lady once told me that if you don't use what you buy after you buy it your tastes will change and you won't necessarily like it when you get around to it.  LOL Well, I do think I am beginning to believe those words of wisdom.  That being said, I will have to tell you that this turned out nothing like the kit instructions.  LOL  I added my own spin to it and must say I think it turned out to be a whimsical little house.

If you are interested in giving this little house a home, it will be listed in my Etsy store.  While I wish I could keep all my projects the logistics of finding them all a place to sit is just not possible and storing them away in a box just seems crazy if someone else can take them and love them.

The kit I got from The Crafty Scrapper in Waxahachie, TX and it was designed by Dee Dee Roe with some major modifications by myself.  If you are ever in TX I would definitely stop by and visit this store.  Very nice people!

Altered Cigar Box: Secret Garden Treasures

Hello!

Still recovering from my week of travel and haven't done any crafting so far.  LOL  I have been cleaning on my craft room trying to find a place to put all the cool stuff I got from The Crafty Scrapper and The Great American Scrapbook Convention.  Although I tried to not buy a lot of stuff that I wasn't going to use immediately; I did.  Oh well, it all has a good home with me and will be used eventually.

I made this altered cigar box a couple of weeks back but just hadn't got it posted.  I decided to take a different approach on this one.  I made it a treasure box with a mini album inside.  I used Graphic 45 Secret Garden Collection on the box and the mini album.  Who doesn't love Graphic 45 paper?

There are a lot of pictures. So grab a beverage and enjoy.

Box measures 6 1/2 x 4 x 4 3/4 inches.

Outside of box.....

View of album in box. Still lots of room to put little treasures in it....

The mini album measures 5 1/2 x 3 1/4 x 1 3/4 inches. I put inserts on every page but left lots of room for the owner to personalize the album to their liking.

Now for the mini album....

Used an accordion fold binding...

I was really happy with the results of this project.  I will be listing this in my Etsy store soon.
